Tickle Me Ichiro
Ichiro Suzuki is playing better baseball which some attribute, in part, to the tickling that he gets from teammate Ken Griffey Jr. in the locker room. They even have a “safe word” when Ichiro wants Griffey to stop. (Seattle News Tribune via Deadspin and Outsports)
It’s not rocket science to think that getting closer to teammates and the release of tension that gentle horseplay provides could improve performance.
